AS Kylie was riding with her day last weekend, she began to tell him how she had worked at Papa's packing shed. She told him it was weally, weally hard work!!! (She handed boxes to one of the ladies…..because she wanted too!!!) He asked her if he still had the snack machine down their. She said no sir, but he needs to get a smoofie (smoothie) machine. Daddy, I need to call him wight now and tell him!!!
My memories written...in a not so proper way...so I can remember what in the world happened during my crazy, fun, blessed life!
Peach Ice cream
Cayla decided that we had to make peach ice cream. Well, that was a great idea…but, need to find my Aunt Jeans recipe, get ingredients and Cayla said we needed to check the churn. I told her it would be fine. We go to Hahira and get he ingredients. Come home and pick the peaches, peel the peaches, slice the peaches. Mix the ingredients, clean the churn, pour the cream in the churn……..the churn just hums, it will not turn, no ice is stuck! I told you Mama, she said. Off we go to buy a churn. Home again, clean the new churn, pour up cream, add ice and salt and wait!!!! Is this ever going to get ready??? Yes, Finally!!!! It was pretty good and it was expensive!!! But we made great memories and had a whole lot of laughter and fun!!! Thanks Cayla!!!
The new churn!!!
Waiting….
Give me some ice cream NOW!!! I mean, how long can it take???
Our Grands on Mothers Day 2011

This year for Mothers Day we gathered at the farm for Mothers Day, Casey’s Birthday and our egg hunt ! Some are out of town on Easter, others had a chance to visit with their in-laws for Easter, and I decided to do mine on Mothers Day….it is just how it fell. More family, more people to consider and work around! All though, most do not seem to care about gaining more family and thinking of others families and their traditions! When all of your family live in one place, we will all need to learn to adapt to make it more pleasant for all involved. We now see why people go out of town on Holidays!!! It just makes it easier. LOL
We had a great meal, cake and a fun egg hunt. What a blessed day!!! To have family gathered around and enjoying themselves!
Easter Festivities 2011
There is just something about dying real eggs that I enjoy. I guess it reminds me of my childhood egg hunts that I loved so much! So the tradition continues!!! Isabella is all excited about coloring those eggs! And Miss Kylie wanted to color all of them right by herself!!!
Miss Kylie decorating the yard just a little bit! This is serious business!!!
And what would Easter be without a great southern meal???
Ready, Set, Go! Isabella and Cayden’s first Easter!
Family, simply the best!
Thanks for all of the efforts everyone contributed! Food, time, flowers and your presence! What a blessed day!
Happy 25th Casey!
Isabella Gets a Haircut
Isabella has some hair in the back that is just a little unruly! She needed a trim, so she got one while Kylie was getting a trim also! Who else but Kari to cut their hair. Now believe me, it was just a tiny bit! We love ya, Kari!
OK???
Kylie’s 5th Birthday Party
We have not had a big birthday party for Kylie until this year. We have had just family parties, so this year her Mom and Daddy Bart had her a big ole b-day. It was a surprise!
As you can tell by the pictures, she was really surprised. What I love the most is when she turned to her Mom, gave her a big hug and thanked her!
Bounce house and slides were all the entertainment they needed!
The cake turned out way bigger than the lady intended, but Kylie did not mind!!!
Lots of special people came to help celebrate the occasion!

What a wonderful birthday for this precious one! She waited 5 years for a big party and her Mom and Daddy Bart did a great job. Thanks to all who came and made her day special!
Happy 5th Birthday to our Kylie!!!

She had cupcakes at school today for her birthday…along with a fire drill…lol…only would this happen to us!!! We will celebrate next week…she is a little busy this weekend!
