Kylie’s Birthday and the SEC Championship!

Happy Birthday to Kylie!!! Since she received some money for her birthday and has always wanted to go to Build a Bear…her Mom decided this was the time!!! She was so excited!!!

We also needed a little orange to wear and we made a quick stop for that!!!
Then off to the game! Buffy left this morning to get back home for work and school! We will miss them today!

Scary! She did try and get up, but just could not. She had a concussion. They finally let her Mom go out to her, thank goodness! She did travel home with the team on Sunday.

Kylie really enjoyed this and thanked me several times! The funniest thing was when she yelled down to me….MamaJ, we need to get some caffeine down  here, we all about to fall asleep!

Like she is not active enough!!! The people behind us, just about rolled out of their seats laughing!!!

SEC Saturday Games

Arrived at the Arena, we have good seats and we have food!!! We’re good!!!

Cotton Candy? Yes! Soft drinks? Yes! Ice cream? Yes! Funnel Cake? Yes!

Did we come to eat or watch a ball game? Katie was taking in everything----she could not figure out the cheerleader situation!

Heading out for the SEC Tournament-Night 1

After Kylie’s party 2 cars full of family headed out to Nashville Tennessee. We are planning on trying to drive all night, but due to bad weather will probably have to cut the trip in half!

We stopped in Tifton and got Zaxby’s. Then stopped in Perry for potty break and allergy med for Kylie…lol we may not make it to Macon!!!

Some family members (not in our cars---lol) are having fits because of the weather and are scared we may get tired and not have enough smarts to stop! I guess that is a good way to explain it!

Well, I tell ya----I may not be the brightest bulb on the tree---but I am not completely in the dark! LOL! We were in touch with family members on the phone and with cell phone tech. were able to see the radar!

When we got to the south side of Atlanta, both of my ears popped and I knew there was a difference in the barometric pressure. So,  more chats on the phone with Todd our weather guide from the North! Casey pulled up the radar and we all decided we could make it to the North side of Atlanta. And guess what, we did! No rain or anything until we stopped and then it rained! I watched the weather until about one then off to sleep.

Day 2

Saturday, we hit the road about nine. As we are approaching Chattanooga TN, I saw a sign that said I-24 was closed-North and South bound lanes. I was like, did I read that right? Then a sign told a radio station to tune in to and listen….yep, I saw it correctly. We hit detour on the GPS and took that exit. We talked to some locals and power lines were down across both lanes because of the wind last night. Hmmm! We decided to get back on and go down a couple of exits and  then detour. Good choice!

We meandered our way with everyone else through downtown and came  out on the other side and got around much of the traffic.

We stopped once more to eat, etc. On to Paul and Lynn’s house! We rested about an hour, then on to the gym!

Happy 6th Birthday, Kylie!

It is hard to believe that our Kylie is six years old. Oh how the years have flown!

We celebrated her birthday on Friday, March 2nd at Jumping Jacks! A great place to have a party! Everyone had lots of fun.

One happy six year old! She wanted a Tangled Party. So, her Mom & Dad  did just that!

Rockin the new hair cut!

Kylie is spending the night with MaJ and Papa. I picked her up from school and she wanted to go to McDonalds! Then we came home and played school!

We went out to eat and she looked so cute that I just had to snap a few pictures!

Kylie’s Haircut

Part I

Our Kylie is so very tender headed. She hates her hair washed and brushed. Her hair is curly underneath and tangles so we know that it pulls! But it is difficult every morning for her Mom to deal with.

Casey will tell her now and again, as I am sure I did, “ We are just going to have to get your hair cut if you don’t let me brush it and stop acting up!” Now, she has had her hair cut before so it is not like she has never had it cut!

Her Mom took her and she picked out a cut that she liked. Kari cut it and then…the tears came! She is kin to her Mom in that once the tears start, they just keep pouring! Well, it the end….Casey cut her hair to so that Kylie would feel better about hers….the love of a Mother is just more than words could ever say! Casey your the best!!! Casey needed a trim also!

Isabella also got a little trim….she will not leave hair bows in her hair!

Casey and Kylie called me to tell me about the hair cut!

Then Kylie wanted to talk to MaJ!

She started out like this!

Kylie-------MamaJ? Do you know when my Mama said she was going to cut my hair off like a boys? (I new she had picked her own cut!)

Me-------Yes Kylie, did she do that?

Kylie-----yes mam!

Me----and didn’t she cut hers too?

Kylie---yes mam! But I'm, I’m  sacred about going to school tomorrow.

Me----Why honey?

Kylie---Well, well you know Loli? She,she got hers cut  and it was short and this,this boy in our class, he, he made fun of her. I’m scared he is going to make fun of mine too!

Me----Aww he made fun of her because he really liked it! If he say’s anything to you about it, just flip your hair and say----“you know you love it!’  Then, just keep on walking!

Bless her heart, she was so worried!

Part II

I talked to Casey today and asked how Kylie’s day at school went!

She said, Just fine.

Kylie said--- that this little boy asked her to be his girlfriend and was trying to kiss her!!! LOL! She said---- the girls were trying to help her run from him, but that he could run really fast!!!

Priceless!!!

Thank-you God for helping Kylie have a good day at school today!!!

A Fabulous Day

Today was a fabulous, fun day. Started out helping Cayla get the boys to Sunday School.  After church, Mom came and met us at “ The Smokin Pig”! We enjoyed lots of laughter as Cole kept Nana going!

After lunch, we headed out to the farm. Mom came and joined us for the afternoon. She got some loving from the great grand’s and we enjoyed having her so much! It was one, wild time…lol!

We got a few pictures with the boys, next time---must get some with the girls!

 

When Kylie got back from her Dad’s, she was so happy Great-Nana was there. The first thing she asked? Is Macie, Ally and Katie here? She loves and misses her cousins!

This was one fun day! 

Bentley’s First visit to Sunday School and Church

He got lots of loving from everyone!!! And he looks so thrilled!!!

Busy Day

Went with Cayla to take Bentley to the doctor. He is growing and doing well.

We got the doctor to check out Caydens ear while there, he had been pulling at it and guess what..it was infected. Took them to Chick-fil-A!

Finally found a frame for the oil painting I did of Kylie a few years ago, thanks for the help Cayla. 

Casey and the girls came over yesterday afternoon and we had a blast. I helped Kylie cover her shoe box for Valentines day at school. Isabella played while we got this done. While we were eating supper, some little missy went up the stairs all my herself…quiet as a mouse!!! Her Mom heard something moving around and guess who!!!

The girls were running around wild through the house!

The boys were having a cry marathon yesterday!

I enjoyed my time with all of them yesterday. (All though we were in town with the boys for their part of the day----not the greatest place with a 13 month and a newborn!!!)

Still, a blessed day! Thank you Lord for all the blessings!
