Ryan and Cayla’s Wedding

In 2010, our youngest daughter married…..out our house…yikes!!! Oh well, it turned out beautiful, and let me just add…plants are necessary to hide things that just need to be covered (or hidden)!!! So many friends and family came together to help all of this come together and I will be forever grateful to all of them!!! We could not have done it without each and every one of them!!! Here are a few pictures…I am sure I will post others later!!!

Bathroom Makeover

I had been taking off the wall paper in the guest bathroom, lets just say a little at a time! When I found out a wedding would take place at our home…..well, I had to get it finished! I even had Kylie join in the fun of taking the wall paper off!

Finished room. New shower curtain and hooks, new mirror, new towels, new paint, new door and knob, new light fixture  and my very own framed prints from my photographs. I am not in to blue that much, but I do love the color of this room and am enjoying it.

The Guest Book

G-ma Bridges has a guest book for those who like to sign it after they visit. Kylie is up there with her pen, I asked if she needed help writing her name? She said, no I can make an X!!!

I gave Ky my phone to call KK & tell her she is missing the tea party. It rings and rings….goes to voice mail…Ky is still listening, I asked what did they say? She said…to hang up for more options! LOL so funny!

Pamela’s Senior Soccer Game

Today was Senior night for the soccer team. All seniors are recognized. Cayla, Kylie and I went to watch Pamela and I take  pictures. We also got to watch Katie play on the jr. varsity team! We had so much fun. We did have a delay of game due to a little thunderstorm, but play started back and we went on to win the game.  It was so fun to watch the two girls play soccer, they played well and we are so proud of them! WE love them so much!

Tea for two?

Kylie began to have a  pretend tea party time she saw the tea set. It was so cute….would you like some tea? What kind? Strawberry delight truffle? The teapot was just magical, anything you could imagine was served! She even had some cupcakes…hmmm wonder who made those? Grandma Bridges and Kylie looked daunting in their lovely hats and pretty smiles! Fun times!

Saturday….

was such a nice day. I enjoyed spending time with Cayla for the first part of the day. Then we went to Hahira & got some leg quarters, picked up Kylie and headed home. Casey joned us a little later. Bart and Ryan went fishing. Cole went fishing at the flats, got back early and he and Sara came over late that afternoon.

WB grilled the chicken and it was delicious! I made baked potato’s, green beans  and a strawberry trifle.(sp) When we were getting ready to eat Nick and Wendy Copeland called & needed some pine straw. We told  them to come and eat, but they had eaten earlier, so they joined us for dessert. It was nice to have our other son….and his wife join us for dessert and then the guys shot some pool! Wendy said she felt like they were barging in on a family dinner and Nick told her he was family! Which is so true, we love him like one of ours & he spent many days and nights at our house! Enjoyed their visit as well as all of our kids and friends!

Armadillo Hunt

Last night WB and Kylie went hunting armadillo’s in our yard. We have one that is digging lots of holes in the back yard. The pictures are fuzzy, but they are of Kylie & WB with their flashlights. She had to get her flashlight and her hat before she could go outside to hunt.

Cole has been officially released from the doctors care, thank-you dear God! Yippee!

Yep, we are so thankful!!! Now,  his thumb still hurts when he bends it to far…probably the plate…but I pray with time this will go away too! God has surely blessed him!
