My memories written...in a not so proper way...so I can remember what in the world happened during my crazy, fun, blessed life!
My Student-Jenna Price
My heart is so heavy & saddened today as I received news that a precious student I taught in preschool, life had ended. Her name is Jenna Price. I have kept up with her over the years. She is my son's age & they have been good friends over the years. Carnivals, hog shows etc. I can just see her bouncing around the class room, she was a very good helper.
I attended school with her Dad, Roger, many years ago and also enjoyed her Mom's, Holly, friendship. Holly died in 2006 from cancer, she was so vibrant & full of life.
I also love her Ma Pat. Just recently I have done some painting for Ms Pat and Mr. Herbert, I just love them & my heart aches for them & their loss. Jenna also has a brother who I know loved her so much and I know he will miss her terribly.
May God lift them up & hold them in his hands. This has affected our whole community.

Tennessee Bound
We left for Chattanooga Tn today, July 15th. Winston, Casey, Kylie & myself. We are leaving early and stopping by the Tennessee Aquarium. We will stay in Chattanooga tonight. We arrived around 12:00. Our tickets were for 4:oo, could not get into the hotel until 3:00!!!! Someone is tired & needs a nap! We ate then rode around while Kylie took a nap! WE arrived at the aquarium at 4:00, put Kylie in the stroller & made our way inside. Oh my, what a great place to visit. we were taking pictures going & coming, so much to see! It was truly a beautiful and educational adventure. Kylie enjoyed it for a while, but bear in mind...she has been in a car for 6 hours!!!! This place is just great. We had a great time, got an icy to go. We went back to the hotel and were all to tired to go out & eat. Winston decided to bless us with room service, which Kylie loved since she could run around & eat!
While in the hotel room, she grabbed a cell phone and said she needed to talk to CA CA!
She told her she needed to come home! After dinner, baths, & looking at our pictures it was bed time!
On Wednesday, we woke up and headed on to Henderson ville where we will stay with Todd, Kelly and girls! It has been many years since we have been to Tennessee. We arrive around 11:00. They guys went to the golf course, we went to a mall. Kylie is back in the stroller again. We tried to buy her some shoes, but she did not want any, she would stick her feet under the stroller so we could no put them on her feet! We moved on to the book store. She pitched a fit there also. Kelly decided to take her home & I would come back & shop with the girls! We shopped a little longer then headed home. Kylie loved their home, she thought she was at the toy store. They also have 2 stairways! She ran from one to the other!
Thursday Cayla had class at VTC. After class she decided to fly up to Nashville. We rode on the jet ski and shopped. Kelly and I went & got pedicures....great!! We went to the airport & picked Cayla up & headed back home. Many laughs and lots of fun carried on during our stay. Todd & Winston golfed! The girls shopped & swamed.
Friday we met Lynn & Lindsey at the mall, had lunch, lots of laughs. I rode the Merry-go-round with Kylie, she rode a submarine also! Back to Todd & Kelly's, eat pizza, off to Matthew's church league softball game. I have never seen them play sports so I wanted to see them playing & having fun!
We watched Mary Kate tumble with the cheer team and Lindsey play basketball!!!Fun Fun!
Todd cooked ribs Sat. and we left early Sunday. The company was great, the food was great, the laughs & entertainment was great! I would do it again, it was worth all the work!!
Thanks to Kelly & Todd for being great hosts!
I will post pictures later!

Valdosta Technical College
Cayla has decided at the last minute to take a class this summer at VTC. She registered at the last minute, but will take a computer class. She is planning on entering the Radiology Program. She is tired of doing nothing so she is ready. We are very proud of her and wish her the best. Go Cayla!
Cayla's Rehab
As of July 2nd, Cayla has been released from rehab. She has rehabed faster than anyone they have ever had before. I am sure it was in part from all of the prayer offered up on her behalf. These prayers are greatly appreciated. She still needs to work at home for strength.
Her Dr. visit went well also, but he would not release her because it had not been 6 months since the surgery! We are still on the no activity list!!! She can run on flat surfaces. September 20 will be the day to rip and roar again!
Praise God for all his blessings!
