St George Island

We took a little day trip today. Girls day at the beach!!! Casey, Kylie, Isabella and myself. It was such a beautiful day and the girl had an awesome time playing.

At first Isabella did not want sand on her feet, so she stayed on the blanket. She did sit by me in the chair for a little while. But when she got a little taste of playing in the water, that was the end of no sand in between the toes-----she loved it!!! Back and forth with shells that Kylie had picked up, from the bucket to her Mom’s hand---at least an hour!!! She was so stinking cute!!!

Kylie was playing from the first second. She absolutely loved finding the shells and playing in the sand and water!!! Oh, and she loved all the boys! She had never seen so many boys in all one place in all of her life!!!

The beach was not crowded and I enjoyed that, but I oh so loved watching the girls enjoy themselves.

Thank you Casey for making this trip with me. It was so nice to spend time with you and your girls. Love you so much!!!

A quote from Kylie after going to the beach….hmmm!!!

Momma J, I hadn't ever seen so many boys in all my life! Said with the biggest smile you ever saw!!! Oh dear, we are in trouble!!! Her Papa is not going to like this at all!!! Bahaha!!!

Now I am on to why she was so willing to share her sand dollars!!!

Easter in 1991

Kylie and I were looking at some old pictures on my computer. She saw this one and asked me, “what's moma doing in this picture, is she dressed up in a costume for something?” LOL---NO, it was Easter!!! Tooooo funny!!! Through the eyes of a child and right out of the mouth!

011-001

Note: It is taking both of them to keep this little wiggle worm from escaping!!! The O (circle) of life, it just keeps on running.  Love my kiddo’s!

3/27/2012

I kept the boys and a puppy again today and oh boy was it a wild day!!! I know that I am re-living my Mothers life.

I remember her keeping Macie and Ally and them getting a puppy. I remember her telling me that one minute Macie was after the puppy and the next minute the puppy was after her! And that is exactly what I was doing yesterday!!! I finally put the dog in the bathroom!!!

Bentley was rather ill, who could blame him after three shots. He is also very stuffy, poor thing…and he will still look up at you and smile. He loves to eat!!! He also found his fists today! And he napped in his crib!!! I can just eat him up and I so see his Mom when I look at him!

Cayden was just in to every thing! At one point he was by me on the couch, I'm feeding Bentley when he decided he would play with the blind. I told him, no-don’t play with that…he just looked at me and kept on….I told him again, same scenario with a cute little smile (little Cayla)! I tapped him a little on the leg….no change. I told him that if he did not mind me then he could stand in the corner or go to his room ( his Mom puts him in the corner and he stands there, funniest thing ever)! He then cut his eyes to farthest part   of his eye, looked at me and pointed and said something I did not understand. Then,  proceeded to climb back on the couch,  sit down beside me for his time out. In a minute or two he reached over and loved me for his I’m sorry!!! Heart melt!!!

When I got ready to go home, he stood beside me and was waving bye to his Mom…lol! She said, oh no, I have not seen you all day and your not going bye-bye!!!

A great day, but these babies are for young peeps!!!

Bentley’s two month check up

Cayla started a temporary job today. And this sweet little baby had a drs appt. Hmm! Oh well, when you have no choice you just roll with it. I got Great-Gma to come over to Cayla’s and watch him for me. Bent and I took off and got their so we could wait for a long time! He was so good, bright eyed and cooing!

We got back and he weighed in at 11 pounds. His head was 15.75 and his height was around 26….I think! The poor thing is so stuffy and it looks like he is going to have allergies too! The Dr. said you could tell by the dark circles under his eyes! I laughed and said, “I have no idea where he gets those from.” The doctor looked at me, looked down and laughed and said, neither do I!!! I told him they had been passed down through generations…from the McGhee side of the family, (that would be my Dad’s, Mothers side of the family)…and that I sure did hate to pass that along, but it seems there is no stopping it. He laughed and said…well you could pass worse along, and them I thought of my eye that I have ambliopa in and cringed!!! I did not tell about that today…maybe the next visit!!! You know he thinks I am crazy….I agree!!!

Three shots later and a rx and we are headed home….poor baby!!! And I bet he will be irritable tomorrow!!!

Thanks G-gma for all the help!!! Your the best!!!

God bless all babysitters, daycares, teachers, and Grandparents over 45 who keep their grands…… they need blessing and energy, and then some!!! LOL!!! But oh how we love those babies!!! It takes a small army!!!

Dr Visit

Cayden had to go back for a regular visit. He got three shots, poor baby and he is still sick and running fever! WE are all so ready for him to feel better!!!  This was on Tuesday!

WB is very sick too, allergies are awful this year. The pollen count has broken records this year!

On Thursday, Bentley is back at it again also. Running fever….back to the office again!!! I met her and took Cayden and we went to Sams for a few minutes!

Now, Emmett has it again also!!!

People really need to stay home when they are sick to help keep from spreading all of this stuff. And some of what is going on is contagious!  But then, what do I know!!!

March 19th

Yep today is my birthday.

The day I came into the world to terrorize my parents!!! And I did just that…lol!! My older sister, Lynn….she would just sleep and lay in the bed so still! NO, No, No----not this chick! I did not sleep much and was never still and was into everything!!!

It was so bad, that my Daddy told my Mom to take me to the Dr. and tell him that if he could not give me something to help me sleep…then to give them something!!! Something had to give!!!

I think there we times I would just wake up in the middle of the night and play, when I was a toddler. Poor Dad and Mom, bet they wish they had only had one..heehee!!! I is so so sorry and if you could, please remember that medicine, I could sure try some of it now, cause that lack of sleep stuff, it done come back to haunt me again!!!

Life is funny like that…it is that circle thing….it just keeps coming around and around and around!!!

Sometimes, I think peeps that decide not to have any children or just one---they smart!!! But then there are those of us who decide to multiply and we have many happy and sad times…and are rewarded with those things called Grands!!! And that is the funniest, because that circle thing---it catches up!!!

I have done got plum silly!!!Bahaha!!!

WB asked me what I wanted for my birthday. Hmmm…..a new lens for my camera, I think! It took a while before I decided what I wanted to get! I read and pondered, pondered and read. Then, I decided it was time!

And these are what I decided on!!!

001-001

I really thought I would get another 50 mm(move money). But then, I had wanted a macro for several years so I decided to go with this 50 and the macro. I am enjoying both of them and am still getting use to working with them!

Thank you to the best hubby in the world! You are more than I ever deserve!!!

I also got a bird feeder and bird food from Cole and Josie. And money from Jenny, Martha and EB! A precious card from Cayla and family, hugs from so many! Thanks to each of you for remembering me on this day!

Funny thing….I had posted part of this before I ever got my lens, I had it posted on the wrong day…..old age???

Congrats to Macie!!!

My niece got baptized tonight and I am so proud of her….love you Macie, sister!!!

Sleepy

After meeting the Hughes and dropping off the boys, I needed to go and see my sweet Katie get married. Well, as I am driving back from the Interstate----I can barely stay awake, and believe me…me staying awake is not a problem, falling asleep-yes. I knew I was in trouble and asked the Lord to help me make it home safely.

I did and about 12:00 I ate a little lunch and told WB that I was going to get on the couch and watch a little t.v.----not, I woke up at 2:00! I was so sad that I had missed the wedding because I love all of them so much! But, I also know when I have reached my  limit and I had. The lack of sleep was overwhelming and I hate I missed it!!! But Katie knows I love her and she will understand, and guess what….they are still married, even if all of us did not get to go!!! Love you guys!!!

Want to see the pictures some time!!!

The Boys

Well, Cayla and Ryan are going on a little vacation with some friends. I am keeping the boys part of the time and Susie part of the time.

Cayla brought them over late Wednesday night, I told her Thursday morning…lol! But who can pack with these two, right??? LOL!!!  Oh well! It was around one before Cayden went to sleep, he knew something was up! I put him in the pack-n-play and Bentley in the bed with me and WB.

Thursday we had a pretty good day. We even rode on the golf cart for a little bit. I got Papa to make a seat belt for Bentley’s car seat!!!

Then Friday came and Bentley was not a very happy baby!!! Nor was Cayden!!!

They did go to bed earlier tonight, around ten. At one or so, I kept hearing Cayden toss and turn and his breathing just did not sound right. I went up stairs and checked on him----running a fever, not good!!! I gave him some Tylenol and we went to the couch. I really did not sleep much from that point on.  I talked to Cayla and she is calling them to see what the dr wants to do. Now bear in mind we were just in their office on Monday with him…..and a week or two before that with both of them! He is on an antibiotic, soooo---I figured that they would probably just change that to something else, nooooo! They call us back at 11:00, I am 25 to 30 minutes away, and what do they say-----you need to bring him on in, really??? Me and two babies, are you kidding me???

Ok we are in the car and on the way----I know it is Friday and they close at 12:00. I talked to Cayla and told her to call them back and tell them that they had better not lock me out of that office or I will be really upset!!!!! She called them back and the receptionist tells her that they are closing early today, I guess they failed to tell the nurse??? I turned around and went back to the house, so glad we called. This happened once before at the same office, how they get voted best in Val. I will never know---except the must have a trillion patients!

I am trying to decide how I will take both of them to Youth Care??? Hmmm---hello Casey!!! I need help!!! Thank goodness!!! Laura said she would keep Isabella and then Kylie wanted to stay there also. So Casey stayed and I took Cayden on.

We waited and waited and waited. Guess who is on call??? Dr. Anderson! I love him as a person, nice man…..but, enough said! I am thinking at this point. He is not going to give us anything, we have sat here all this time and he is just going to say…Well, it just needs to run its course, etc!!! Well, what do ya know? I was wrong! He asked if he had ever been diagnosed with Asthma?

No, but they did give him breathing treatments! Get back on those and he gave us a RX for some more meds! He is a sick little man.

On the way to the car, he decides to press the button on my keys. Yep, it was the panic button! No one came…lol!!! I finally got him in his seat, and cranked up the car. OK, all is well! But then, my car is acting crazy…it does not want to go and a few lights are blinking! What next I am thinking. I called WB and told him, he is telling me this and that----and to turn it off and let it reset. I did and it was just fine. I am assuming that it is a safety feature in case someone is stealing your car!!! Oh my!!!!

On to the pharmacy! It was around ten when we got home!!    I am exhausted!!! Bless Casey’s heart, her and Bart were life savers!!! She went and got her girls, brought her cradle swing and the whole family came and stayed with us Friday night! She stayed up with Bentley and Isabella (Miss Night Owl) so I could get some rest!!!

Bart slept up stairs, Papa and Kylie in our bed, Cayden and I in another room and Casey, Isabella on the couch and Bentley in the swing!!! A house full!!! It thundered and stormed early in the AM. Cayden and I did not hear one bit of it!!!

Now, Casey is exhausted! Oh boy!!!

I am taking the boys to their other grandparents for tonight and tomorrow. Susie keeps another Grand during the week and we did not want her to have three at one time!!!

I sure hope Cayla and Ryan enjoyed their vacation!!! I know why you can’t get anything accomplished…..my memory was jarred and the flashbacks came!!! LOL! Mine were 19 months apart, thanks for reminding me!!!

I love my family and appreciate their love for each other!!!

Now I need a vaca!!!
