After seeing MJ's yard and her bird houses, I decided that I would put up some blue bird houses. I did not want to pay as much as they wanted in town or online for them, so I got the info from on-line to make one out of a board. I should say...Winston making them, as I can not cut a straight a line! I did assist as the gopher! We made 5 houses out of the 3 boards I bought. WB also remembered he had a cedar board in the barn, it was wider & made a larger house. I hope I can get some good pictures if they will make their homes here! Thanks for making them for me WB!

MJ Devane Washknock

I have this wonderful friend who lives on her family farm, with her hubby, Bill . Her yard is so inviting & cozy. It just makes you feel welcome. She also has a green thumb and an artful eye. I love to walk through her garden, she has a little of everything. She loves flowers, birds, paintings, pictures, etc. We have a lot in common and I just love her! She is kind enough to let me take pictures at her home. Bill even walked around & showed me a few things! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home & garden with me! Maybe next time I will see those fox squirrels!

Compster's

April the 2nd, I was out mowing the lawn. I saw the workers leaving, but they stopped the van & were playing in the over flow from the pond. I did not know what they were doing, I thought they were cleaning their hands or just playing. Later on Kylie & I were walking, Papa was working on getting the water to drain out of the field. Kylie told me to look.... there was a wizard(lizard) in that water. I did not see anything, nor did Winston. She was insistent they there was a wizard in there!! The next day we found out that there were craw fish in the water. Winston just had to get some. Here we are catching compster's as Kylie called them!!! I guess this is a cross between a craw fish & a lobster!! We have laughed so hard at her talking about those compsters.
