This month has flown by & I am behind on my blogging....I will catch up soon...I hope! I have spent many hours walking, praying and taking pictures of nature....I just love spring....I will post some pictures of things I have come across on my nature walks....what an awesome creation we are blessed to enjoy.....just taking the time to enjoy it is the problem!

A walk to remember!

I came across this cat while I was walking one day...around 12:00..high noon! I came around a corner...he was on the other side walking toward an open field. I stopped dead still....just as he did, did not know whether to run, breath or what to do. I did know that I had no weapons of any kind with me, but I did have my camera! I just eased the camera up & took what snaps I could. First, as you can see he just sat & stared at me...creepy. Then, he just eased back into the wisteria bushes that are to the left of me. Unbelievable!!

I know Easter is on it's way...guess who I saw today?

A Happy Day

Well, my birthday was today and it was a pleasant day. My friend/mother-in -law, treated myself and the girls to lunch at Covington's. It was so good & the company was the best. We could not have asked Kylie to be any better. She acted like a little lady. Earlier in the day she was not very happy, I told her that if she wanted to go & eat with the big girls she should straighten up or she would have to go to the sitters....she said she wanted to go with the big girls....and she did!! I got a gift card for a pedicure...yes!!! I got an ipod...I have enjoyed this more than I thought!! Something about those 60's & 70's songs! Some shirts, a plant, and some money. My maw-in-law also made the best chocolate cake ever!! yum Thanks to all of you who made this day special. It just comes around to soon!!!

Wood Peckers

While walking today I noticed a pair of wood peckers in this white oak tree. I snapped a few pictures. Days later I noticed the dead tree near by & at first I thought it might should come down. Then I saw all of the holes pecked in this tree. WB saw me looking at it & asked what I was thinking...I told him, I think those wood peckers probably have a nest in the tree, maybe we should not cut in down right now.

Walking with Camera

Yes, I have done a lot of walking during March....with my friend, rebel camera! It just worked out to where I had the time..it won't last...but I have enjoyed it. I started taking my camera with me because then my mind is doing something besides thinking that I am walking. I also love spring and all of the new growth just popping up every where. I will be posting pictures that I have captured on my journeys.

6. Will not go to sleep until her Mom gets home at night.

8. Cries almost every night when she has to go to bed!
9. She loves people!!!
