Kylie calls Aunt Cayla
I gave Ky my phone to call KK & tell her she is missing the tea party. It rings and rings….goes to voice mail…Ky is still listening, I asked what did they say? She said…to hang up for more options! LOL so funny!
Pamela’s Senior Soccer Game
Today was Senior night for the soccer team. All seniors are recognized. Cayla, Kylie and I went to watch Pamela and I take pictures. We also got to watch Katie play on the jr. varsity team! We had so much fun. We did have a delay of game due to a little thunderstorm, but play started back and we went on to win the game. It was so fun to watch the two girls play soccer, they played well and we are so proud of them! WE love them so much!
Tea for two?
Kylie began to have a pretend tea party time she saw the tea set. It was so cute….would you like some tea? What kind? Strawberry delight truffle? The teapot was just magical, anything you could imagine was served! She even had some cupcakes…hmmm wonder who made those? Grandma Bridges and Kylie looked daunting in their lovely hats and pretty smiles! Fun times!
Saturday….
was such a nice day. I enjoyed spending time with Cayla for the first part of the day. Then we went to Hahira & got some leg quarters, picked up Kylie and headed home. Casey joned us a little later. Bart and Ryan went fishing. Cole went fishing at the flats, got back early and he and Sara came over late that afternoon.
WB grilled the chicken and it was delicious! I made baked potato’s, green beans and a strawberry trifle.(sp) When we were getting ready to eat Nick and Wendy Copeland called & needed some pine straw. We told them to come and eat, but they had eaten earlier, so they joined us for dessert. It was nice to have our other son….and his wife join us for dessert and then the guys shot some pool! Wendy said she felt like they were barging in on a family dinner and Nick told her he was family! Which is so true, we love him like one of ours & he spent many days and nights at our house! Enjoyed their visit as well as all of our kids and friends!
This man can do some grilling!!!
Armadillo Hunt
Last night WB and Kylie went hunting armadillo’s in our yard. We have one that is digging lots of holes in the back yard. The pictures are fuzzy, but they are of Kylie & WB with their flashlights. She had to get her flashlight and her hat before she could go outside to hunt.
Cole has been officially released from the doctors care, thank-you dear God! Yippee!
Yep, we are so thankful!!! Now, his thumb still hurts when he bends it to far…probably the plate…but I pray with time this will go away too! God has surely blessed him!
My Sweet Boy
Yesterday a nice young man came by & fertilized my plants. He is so sweet and kind. Thank-you son for your love and kindness that you show to so many people. Makes me so proud of you and God will bless you for it! Such a hard worker!
Bluebird House
Well, the bird houses WB made for me has paid off. I have only seen one house occupied, but am so excited! It was around a year ago we put them up! Friday we were out back with Kylie. She started tip-toeing over toward the bird house. She turned around and looked at us, put her finger over her lips to tell us shh. Went over over to the bird house & tapped on the bottom of it! What a hoot!
I believe these are Eastern Bluebirds. The bottom left corner- is the male and the rest are of the female. Her colors are dull compared to the male. He got’s to be perty so he can get a wife!!!

An afternoon relaxing in the swing!
Kylie is enjoying her smoothie that Aunt KK made for her. She is also enjoying chatting with her in the swing. She will say…..sooo, lets talk about it!!!
A Witchin as Kylie calls it!
Well, I am not to happy about it…but I broke a switch today and used it on a little one that I love so much. She is so strong-willed and can dig her heels in like a stubborn ole mule. Some times you just have to break those wills!!! Believe me, it was a have to situation. She also ran from me, I followed her around for a little bit as she giggled the whole time. I was not extremely angry and it was a little funny, but I knew I had to remember the scripture and not spoil the child…too late!!! She finally came to me and I witched her a little and she did not appreciate it at all, you a mean, mean woman!!! After a few minutes of her wanting her Mom, I called her to the back porch and gathered her up in my arms. Told her that I loved her so much and that she could not disobey me or any other adult when she is told to do something. God does not like it. He said that we as parents are to love you enough to spank you. I told her how when Cole, her Mom and Cayla were little, they also got switching's and so did I when I was young. She told me she love me too and that she was sorry. Then she wanted to know where was God??? I told her he is every where, and she begins looking around asking…is he over there, up there? Oh boy, explaining that one has always been a tough one!
Later, Cole comes in and she tells him I gave her a witchin with thorns!!! NOT!!! But how well I know that it does feel that way sometimes. He asked her what she did, and she told him she ran from me….which was not why she got witched! He told her…well, she used to spank me with a spoon!!! Yep, when they got older & would come through the kitchen screaming, fighting, wrestling… I did just pick up a plastic ladle & start swinging & saying….get out of here with all that mess…take it out side…I am trying to cook!!! They would just laugh & run out! I finally broke that ladle on his bottom when he was about 14 or so, as he was running up the stairs!
When Casey got here last night, she told her she did not want to talk about it. I usually do not let Ky spend the night on Tues., because of payroll on Wed. Guess who stayed last night…she said, I promise I will be good, poor thing!
This morning Kylie told me that she gave Bella…Cayla’s dog…..a witchen with my switch. For what, I asked? She was being bad, she tried to bite me. Well, the truth be known she was pulling her ears or tail. I guess she decided she would try the witch out on Bella!!!
Funny Faces
It is so hard to get a good photo of three kids at the same time. Katie did not like the straw sticking her feet at all! During one of the pix, her shoe came off. It was so funny, then the faces began!!! We just decided to let them get it out of there system!!!

I look forward to Easter every year. It is my favorite holiday, maybe because the time of year…..spring! But, I love hosting Easter and these kids are the reason!!! Love you all!

This kid loves her little Bible’s! She takes them around all the time. This was before we left for church, so I was in a hurry! I did not even realize she had it in her hand. I did not prompt her at all, she just did it on her own! Sweet girl!
Remembering
Remembering James (Jimmy) Collie Williams on this day when he was called to leave us way to early! So glad I had Kylie to keep me busy today! Thank-you for being such a special Dad and for all the sacrifices you made for all of us girls! I love ya Daddy!
Happy Easter Jelly beans anyone???
The other day Papa came in & got a few jelly beans. He did not put the top back on completely. I had told Kylie to ask me & would get her some out. Well, she got it herself and this is what we had…..the 100 jelly bean pick up game!!! Cayla grabbed the camera and I thought her face was funny! Oh well..she just saved me some calories!!!
